I’m an oil painter based in Perth, Western Australia, with over ten years of experience working across different mediums before settling on oils. My focus is on portraits, still life, and animals—subjects that let me explore light, texture, and quiet moments in detail.

My work balances realism with atmosphere, aiming to capture the depth of human expression, the simple elegance of everyday objects, and the unique character of animals.

Painting, for me, is about slowing down and observing—whether it’s the way light falls on a face, the subtle tones in a vase of flowers, or the personality in an animal’s gaze. My goal is to create pieces that feel alive, inviting viewers to pause and connect.

I continue to refine my craft in my Armadale studio, always learning and evolving. Above all, I hope my work brings a sense of calm appreciation and thought for the ordinary beauty around us, while also spotlighting the duality of it.
